Working for and working in the community cannot prescind from the promotion, through participatory processes, of human subjectivity and the development of actions based on a pertinent knowledge of the environment in which one intends to intervene. The following images testify the work of the Aseo, Asociacion ecològica del Oriente, conducted in collaboration with some Italian companies, on the recovery of the San Isidro river basin, in the Department of Santa Cruz, in Bolivia. A work that, in addition to the implementation of reforestation and cultivation operations in the area, involves the construction of a water network able to bring drinking water to the eighteen indigenous communities that live in the basin. Thanks to Aseo and Accri (Associazione di cooperazione cristiana internazionale) for having allowed the use of these photos.
